We are guessing you are like us, in that when an appliance replacement needs to be made, we go out to Home Depot, or someplace similar. It has a good staff, it has affordable prices, and strong guarantees. What it does not have, though, is the ability to repair or make conscious recommendations of locals who are able.
If you want that kind of personal care, one needs to get in touch with their local hardware store. In such places you have repairmen, spare parts, and people who generally know great resources for such odd jobs.
So if nothing else, at least try to find an electric motor repair person before you go ahead and bankrupt your savings for that new mixer. You won't regret trying.
