The netbook screen was too small. I found the Table-Mate II to be exactly as pictured and as expected. I have a 40oz plastic cup that I use most often. I also read some reviews mentioning they were unable to put drinks on top of it.
Bought 2 more for Grandma and Grandpa (92 and 84). It is good for that purpose. It can be used for eating or doing some type of written work. I solved the problem by using a piece of plywood under the computer. It is very comfortable for typing on a NetBook. In summary, this table became an important part of my life.
This model even has a slide out compartment for a drink though it seems a bit shaky and I haven't used it.
I do not put much stock in the invalid grumbles of some Amazon feed back contributors, that goes across the board for all items. It came wrapped (each piece) no scratches, dents, bends, etc. I bought this for my mom (whose 89) and she loves it.
It's adjustable height allowed me to set it to fit over my hugely pregnant belly while I was eating. It took sometime to get here, but once, received it was easy to put together.
It is lightweight, easy to assemble, slides right up to where you want it, and is sturdy enough to hold your dinner, or your laptop! A must have for a living room where people are eating. I just purchased two more tables through Amazon for my vacation residence. The Table mate moves with ease.
Easy to clean, and the different angles you can set it for are very useful. Do not buy this table. Couple this stand with an ottoman or foot stool and it makes a PERFECT work station. I am sure that they will come in handy when my guys are with me on vacation. I sent it back for a refund and I will be getting this product from a different website.
