Such has necessitated the need for many people to resort to borrowing from banks and other institutions in terms of loans and other mortgages.

The money lenders have, however, in the past counted losses on their part since they at times lent too freely which in the long run is not proportional to the profits they are able to call back. Another aspect is that they at times lent money to persons of poor credit worthiness.

As compared to their residential cousin, the commercial sector has been in a state to claim more development and a more sustained, better performance. The commercial sector is able to have more funds owing to the long term leases and rents they make.

The market has witnessed some very positive growth in this sector within the last few years as many more people are investing in the trade. On the other hand, it is also good to note that the commercial assets are decreasing in value as a direct result of the lending problems and some institutions have become very strict in their lending policies. The investment on commercial real estate is, however, a healthy deal that one can rightly consider.
