Having a place to shelter in a garden can make it a more pleasant place to spend time. An option for those looking for a quick and simple method of providing shelter is a the First Up company. These are designed for fast assembly and can be set up in a matter of minutes to provide shelter from sun, wind or rain.

Those that enjoy hosting summer barbecues will find this type of canopy ideal. They most commonly come in a 10 foot by 10 foot size. This provides enough space to set up a barbecue lunch under cover, with enough space for a small table or two to let those that want to get out of the sun to dine in a little more comfort.

A First Up gazebo typically comprises a metal frame with a fabric roof to provide a little shade from the sun or relief from light rain. However, it is also possible to get side walls. These can be rolled up when not needed, although when rolled down provide protection from wind and heavier rainfall.

Many people use their garden for additional storage space and will build as shed. For those that want a less permanent fixture that can be removed when not required, a First Up canopy is an option to think about.

This style of outdoor canopy typically comprises a simple metal frame that when erected forms the legs and roof of the structure. The roof is then covered with a custom fabric sheet to provide some protection for the elements. The protection can be increased by also adding fabric side walls.

The canopy can be useful for those that have bikes, but don't have the space available to bring these in their home. It helps to protect the bikes from wind, rain and sun and this can keep them in better condition.

At a size of around 10 foot square, the First Up gazebo is easily large enough to store bikes. It can also be useful for other equipment such as garden implements.
