Most experts agree that when hair falls out, it's due in large part to a poor diet. Alopecia is one of the most prevalent forms of hair loss and can affect any area of the body such as the head, eyelashes and even eyebrows. Hair has an approximate life span of 3-6 years, and it's quite normal to lose a little bit of hair each day. The average normal level of hair loss is between 50 to 100 hairs a day, and for most people, it will grow back. If you are losing more than 100 hairs per day, try these hair fall remedies.

There are 3 stages in hair's life-cycle. Growth is obviously the first stage. Once the growth stage is complete, hair enters a resting phase that will ultimately lead to the shedding phase. Most of us don't notice hair loss because our hair is growing just as fast as it is shedding. But for people with certain genetic characteristics, hair doesn't grow back resulting in pattern baldness and permanent hair loss.

Increased hair shedding or temporary hair loss can be caused by many different reasons including poor nutrition, diet, genes and hormones, age, medications, chemotherapy and radiation treatments; infections, stress, chemicals and hair products as well as weight loss. There are some illnesses that also cause hair loss or thinning such as: anemia, low thyroid hormone levels, lupus and even cancer. In most cases however, hair loss is not permanent and there are some remedies you can try.

Oil

One easy remedy for hair thinning is using oils such as olive oil, almond oil, and coconut oil. Oil can be used instead of leave in conditioners, but your hair may feel sticky and be more difficult to style. The best time to apply oil is after you've washed your hair and it's still wet. Just use a couple drops for best results. Although oil doesn't penetrate the strands of hair, it will leave it feeling smooth and soft. The best approach is to use a hot oil treatment followed by steam and then end with a scalp massage to keep hair healthy and strong.

Eggs

Eggs are great for your hair, the results are instant and you will enjoy the results. It's true they leave an odor and can be messy to work with, but they are worth it. Eggs strengthen your hair almost right away and the yolk will leave your hair shiny; perfect as a hair thinning remedy

Simply mix an egg and two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Leave it on for half an hour and then simply wash it off. Always wash it off with cold water though as warm or hot water can make the egg cook which makes it harder to take off. In order to counteract the smell of the egg, use a scented shampoo and then use a leave in conditioner. If you do this process for a month, you will notice a change in your hair for the better including the reduction of hair thinning and loss.

Mira oil and coconut oil are great for your hair. Use the oil in the evening before bed and then wash as normal the next day.
