If you prefer a gourmet experience, head to Rutherglen's wineries, Beechworth, Milawa, Bright and the King Valley hamlets. History buffs will enjoy Beechworth and Glenrowan. For the action lovers, post snow activies such as horse riding, mountain bike riding, rock climbing, hiking and river rafting are all available.

Whatever you decide to do, it'll be fantastic. The area looks amazing no matter the season, so you only need decide on which time of the year you want to visit. Stay in the area for some time to actually make the best of what is available. If you do make a decision to go in winter, take plenty of warm clothes.
