Tick - Like fleas, this kind also feeds on the host's blood and transmits Lyme disease. Early symptoms may include headache, fatigue, fever and a prominent circular skin rash. If not treated, this could lead to joint disease and heart illnesses.

Aside from these detrimental conditions, rabies can also be transferred to humans through their bites.
